Baba's Chariot Ride

Our little ham
The three big girls had their bi-yearly dental cleaning yesterday.  Mei saw the dentist office and thought she finally had a leg up on the girls.  She ran in the door before anyone else.  Once we were in the exam room, she jumped up in the chair, opened her mouth, and said "eeeh, aaah", then jumped down and pointed at the chair so the girls could take their turns.  She was showing the girls what to expect.  After all, she was here yesterday and knew the ropes.  It was so funny.  She really did enjoy not being the last to know what was going on.  We'll let her continue thinking she is the pro at this.  :)  Sadly, on the way home, she got carsick.  I really thought we had found the magic remedy to this.  Sigh.

Fun in the sprinkler!

At home, Mei continues to enjoy new things.  First, a bubble bath!  She calls bubbles "pow pow".  She loved it!  Lainie shared the bath with her until her ears were ringing from Mei's joyful squeals and yells.  She just can't contain herself when she is excited.  While the girls were at school, I started the water sprinkler in the yard.  Mei loved playing in it.  And of course at the first sign of a puddle, she was stomping in it.  LOL.  Some child characteristics are the same no matter where in the world you were born!  There are rules, you see.  If there is a mud puddle, you are required to stomp in it!

Baba's chariot ride!
We've been trying to find something that can be a "Baba 'n me" activity.  Yesterday, Jad fired up the riding lawn mower and starting giving rides.  Mei loved it!  She squealed with delight, and pushed the handle bars forward to make it go down the hill faster.  Then she ran inside to get Lainie to come join them, and wanted Baba to swerve right and left!  So, explain to me why she loves going in circles on the lawn mower, but pukes when we go around corners too quickly in the car??  I suppose it is the open air.  Maybe this gives us hope that the car sickness will eventually go away.  In the meantime, we'll let her enjoy the wild outdoor fun!
