La Familia

A common question posed to us is "how is Kinnley/Mei adjusting?".  Others openly remark on how well adjusted she appears to be...like she has been with us forever.  We couldn't agree more.  :)  Kinnley formed her place in our lives and in our hearts.  She is happy, here with us.  Sometimes she talks about Mama One and her little foster brother in China.  But most days, she would rather take in today and look forward.  Of course, this is my impression.  However, I believe it is true to the mark.  We've tried to stay in a fairly stable routine this summer and I think it has been a huge advantage to her adjustment.  That's not to say she doesn't enjoy getting out.  If we say the word go, you hear her yell "wait for me!" from an ajoining room.  :)  She is spunky, silly, and truthfully a bit spoiled. Kinnley has found her nitche, her place, her forever home.

Dynamic duo

Kinnley loves all her sisters, but seems closest to Kailee right now.  Maybe because Kailee is a little mother at heart, or just Kailee is always up for fun and activities.  Either way, Kinnley responds well to it.  Of course, if Jaci or Lainie are having fun, Kinnley will be right in among them too.  I think her motto is "let the party begin!".  I know most folks are really looking for the pictures, and not my useless and wordy ramblings.  So here are a few for you to enjoy.  We put up our pool, so I will add some pictures of the mermaids soon.  ha!
