Just a quick post today - Jaci woke feeling much better and no temperature. Thank you Jesus! Now we'll just work on getting her appetite back. McDonald's french fries seem to be the thing that peaks her interest best. Glad they are right next door!
We returned to the medical clinic today to have Mei's TB test read. All was fine, as were the rest of the kids in our group. :)
This afternoon, we went to Shamian Island and enjoyed a few hours browsing through gift shops and eating a Subway sandwich. Don't get me wrong, we LOVE Chinese food. But after having it one to three times per day, it is getting a little old. I am also ready for a diet vanilla coke with ICE! I think we'll pull into Sonic on the ride home from the airport. Ha!
Tomorrow, we have our U.S. Consulate appointment. Our guide Kelly went over all the paperwork with us today, so we should go smoothly tomorrow. Afterwards, the families are going to Guangzhou's zoo, where the girls hope to see a real live panda bear! I'm sure we will have pictures tomorrow.
Please continue to pray for good health for the family. I've become a thermometer freak, taking temps around the room three times a day. I think we should have brought a gallon sized container of hand sanitizer. I've gone through one large pump bottle and we are making a dent in the second one. :)
Love to all -
